DAY INDUSTRY – 1965
Julie Andrews stars in this really fun story that has become a movie treasure. It is a fact-based story about the von Trapp family of Austria, who fled their country and taken over by the Nazis in 1938. Andrews is a handsome and attractive man like Maria, who teaches the tomboyish way as a beautiful sister to embrace adult dress, becoming a matron of a mother’s clan who does not have Trapp’s mother. Plummer is a beautiful matinee-statue and gives a cheeky performance to the chest.
